(this info is being hosted on the youth and family website, however the campout is for anyone, not just youth families.)

***Hey Everyone - as of 2/10/20 all of our 21 reserved sites have been claimed.  You can sign-up to be on the waitlist (follow the link below (just above the campsite map) to sign-up on CCB) and we will let you know if anyone is unable to go.  You can also go to recreation.gov and look for sites at Cagle Recreation Area on March 27-29, and reserve any which have become available.***

We invite everyone to join us for the A&M Church of Christ All-Church Family Campout.

Whether you are a seasoned camper or have never camped before, this will be a great opportunity to spend time together with your family and with others from our church family.  It's in March.  It's less than an hour away.  It's camping.  What could be better?  So grab your tent or a camper, pack the ice chest full of food and join us!

Here is some additional information about the campout:

The Schedule: Well, there’s not much of one.  Come when you can…leave when you need to…  We want this to be a relaxing weekend, so we’re not planning much.  The only things that we will be planning are a meal together on Saturday night and worship on Sunday morning.

Details about the Campground: Cagle Recreation Area is about 45 miles away from Bryan/College Station.  Maker:L,Date:2017-8-28,Ver:5,Lens:Kan03,Act:Kan02,E-Y Our sites will have water and electricity.  They also have a picnic table and a fire-ring.  Each family can reserve a site to use for the weekend.  If you want to share a site with another family, let us know on the sign-up page.  PLEASE NOTE: Sites are limited to 2 tents (or 1 tent and 1 camper) and 8 people (including kids) total.

Activities: The campground has some great things to do including hiking, fishing, picnic-ing, geocaching, and boating.  You can also bring games such as horseshoes or you can bring bicycles or sports equipment or anything else you would like to bring.

Maker:L,Date:2017-8-28,Ver:5,Lens:Kan03,Act:Kan02,E-Y Cost: $68 per campsite.  (The cost is $30 per night (we had to reserve two nights) and there is a service fee we had to pay of $8 per site.  We have paid for all sites already.  When you sign-up, you registration fee will simply reimburse church for what we have already paid to reserve the sites.)

Campsites: After you sign-up, we will send you a link to see the map of campsites and choose which campsite you would like.  If you would like to be near a specific family, you can sign-up for campsites near each other.

If you need to cancel: We can get your money back (except for the $8 service fee) if you cancel by Monday, March 23.  If rain or bad weather is a factor at the campout, we would need you to cancel before Monday, March 23, in order to get money back.

Sign-Up Deadline:
Well, there’s not one, but we only have a limited number of campsites reserved.  If you want to go, it would be better to sign-up as soon as possible.

How to sign-up: All sign-ups will happen online.  When you sign-up, you can choose which campsite you would like to have.  If you would like to sign-up near another person or family, talk to them and choose campsites which are close.  If you do not choose a campsite, we'll put you in whatever campsite is available.  A map is provided below so you can see the sites.  (Note: This is the bigger loop, not the smaller one like we have been at in previous years.)

These pictures are from the Family Campout in 2018.  We would have a picture here of the Family Campout from 2019, but all you would see would be rain.
